Hey, Lincoln-Douglas Debaters! Former University of Wyoming Debate assistant coach, former Team Wyoming head coach, and 2014 NSDA National Champion in Lincoln-Douglas Debate - Lawrence Zhou is back on Rock On! Debate. In this episode, Lawrence disses (spoiler: he's not a fan of this resolution) and discusses the 2022 NSDA National Tournament Lincoln-Douglas Debate Topic: Radicalism is preferable to incrementalism to achieve social justice.
Lawrence goes over some of the major potential issues with the Nationals 2022 topic and then delivers a rant/analysis with some different ways to think through the resolution. Because this episode is so close to the actual debates, Lawrence avoids a more traditional overview and tackles a number of miscellaneous thoughts on the topic in the hopes of helping debaters think through some of the ambiguities and approaches of their upcoming debates.
