Florida’s passing of the controversial Parental Rights in Education Act, or also known as the “Don’t Say Gay” Bill, has driven up the need to have discussion about sexual orientation in schools. However, the impact may be different than originally thought. In this episode, YuYu Yuan and Spencer Travis are joined by Zoey Pickett to discuss the controversial Florida bill.

The Half Hour is a current events podcast designed with the intention of helping Extemp competitors (and other Speech and Debate members, as well as listening for the general public) understand the importance of political, social, or economical events on a domestic and international scale.
